Recently I had the pleasure of photographing a wonderful wedding at the Timber Cove Inn on the Sonoma Coast. The Inn has amazing views of the ocean from their deck and they also have a lovely lawn for the wedding ceremony. The Inn is a short drive up the Sonoma coast from Jenner. http://www.timbercoveinn.com/

Wedding at Stone Tree Golf Club

Recently, I photographed a wedding at Stone Tree Golf Club in Novato. This is a wonderful venue for a wedding with gorgeous views and a grand reception hall. There are many beautiful backgrounds and at dusk, the atmosphere is dreamy.

I photographed a wonderful wedding recently in Petaluma. The ceremony was at St. Vincent De Paul Church which is a majestic location for a wedding. The reception was at the Petaluma Woman's Club - https://petalumawomansclub.com/ which is a delightful and historic reception site in downtown Petaluma.

Marin Headlands engagement portrait

One of the coolest spots for photos in the the San Francisco Bay Area is the Marin Headlands with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. Megan and Andy requested this location for their engagement photo session and I was happy to oblige.

One of the advantages of being based in Petaluma is that I am close to San Francisco as well as the Sonoma and Napa valleys, and the Sonoma Coast. I love the varied locations I get to work at when photographing weddings and portraits and the spectacular scenery that works so well for backgrounds.

Wedding in Oregon

One of the bonuses of being a wedding photographer is when you get to travel to a fun place to photograph a wedding. Recently, I photographed a wonderful wedding at the Applegate River Lodge http://www.applegateriverlodge.com/ in Southern Oregon.

It was a pleasure to work at such a striking venue in such a stunning location. The drive from Ashland went through historic Jacksonville which has many well preserved buildings. Gold was discovered here in 1851 and Jacksonville still has the feel of an old west, gold-rush town.

The bride Jesse and the groom Ian were a pleasure to work with. Instead of a wedding cake, they made caramel apples for their guests.

Is it any wonder that the Sonoma and Napa Wine Country is such a popular destination? We are blessed with a stunningly beautiful area that is a visual feast for a photographer like me.

Recently, I made my first visit to Keller Estate Winery off of Lakeville Highway in Petaluma http://www.kellerestate.com
The vineyards are beautiful with a view out over the Petaluma river and this photo is from an engagement portrait session I photographed there.
